The Essence Of Being A Woman

Being a woman is passion, elegance, conviction to do something great- it is a sense of pride to be feminine in this male dominated society. Women have risen over the past generation. They have shown their mettle in every sphere of life. A woman is capable of doing what a man cannot do. She is capable of creating a new life. That’s the most powerful thing in the world. A woman is behind all the evolution and development that has taken place until now. But, sadly her contribution has gone unnoticed. A woman plays various roles throughout her lifetime, she becomes a daughter, wife, daughter-in-law, mother, guide, doctor, homemaker, teacher – all in one. She’s a multitasker, a manager, a miracle-maker, a lover, an angel. She is an epitome of love, sacrifice, and strength.

We, as women should make a resolution to celebrate every day as a women’s day. Every day we should wake up and celebrate the power that’s inside us. Every day we should be proud of the essence of being a woman. Womanhood is all about beauty, elegance, and power. Being born as a woman is the greatest gift that one can receive. This women’s day we should look forward to enriching ourselves with positivity and hope for a bright and beautiful life. We should have a sense of pride in ourselves, for ourselves. We should be willing to receive what we deserve. We should never settle for less. More power to you ladies. Go out and rule the world!

Cheers! 🙂

  1. Sometimes I think we poet and author think alike…write alike…the only differences are our form of expressing it…something on this same line I had written 3 poems on Woman’s Day collected under the title Only A Woman…liked this post more than a lot…

    1. Yes, of course. We all seem to be thinking on the same lines. What makes us unique is the art of expressing it. Thank you Sangbad. 🙂

  2. Thank you so much for sharing this thought Sheetal!

Every single day should be celebrated because women are accomplishing such great things around the world, and because we shine every single day!

I look forward to reading more blog posts from you!
